Over the past two months, PTE Academic testing had been temporarily suspended due to the rising number of COVID-19 related cases in the country. Therefore, we are pleased to inform you the reopening of PTE Academic Exam in Dhaka from 1st June, 2020 onwards at Dhanmondi PTE test center only with limited seats. On arrival at the test center, candidates are requested to comply with the strict, but necessary precautions that are being set in place to ensure the safety of all other candidates and personnel present at the center.
Please note, PTE Academic testing at our Uttara test center (73429) will remain suspended till 20th July due to safety issues. All candidates with bookings till 20th July are requested to follow the steps highlighted in the enclosed screenshot in the mail and apply for a reschedule at the earliest.

Additionally, test timings have also been updated. Morning sessions will now begin at 9:30am and afternoon sessions begin at 1:00pm. To encourage social distancing, test center personnel have also been reduced during each session.
Guidelines for test day:

Candidates are requested to arrive 30mins-1hour early at the center to initiate disinfection process prior to exam admission.

Only candidates will be allowed inside the center.

Candidates without a mask will be turned away.

Any candidate showing signs of a fever will be turned away.

Candidates are requested to carry an extra pair of gloves. One arrival at the center, they will have to dispose of the one they are using and wear the fresh pair after entering the center.

Candidates wearing PPE suits will not be allowed inside the center, the PPE is to be disposed of outside the center, only then will they be allowed inside.

No bags will be allowed inside the center

No outside food will be allowed inside.

Personal lockers are available to candidates for storing small belongings (watch, wallet, purse, rings, smartphones, medicines etc.)

Parking facilities are temporarily revoked.
Pearson customer services will be contacting candidates soon with an option to reschedule your exam date. However, we would also urge you to aid in the rescheduling procedure, if you face any issues when trying to establish contact with Pearson customer services.
